This policy explains what data ChessMemory collects and how it is used. The data controller is Brice Patrick Nana Fondja, a sole proprietor based in Canada (operator of ChessMemory).
Your chess data (opening repertoires, games, studies, puzzles, progress, settings) is stored locally on your device by default. The app works fully offline.
If you choose to create an account to sync across devices, we store your email address and an encrypted copy of your chess data with our hosting provider (Supabase). This data is protected so that only your account can access it. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details; those are handled by Paddle under their own privacy policy.
We collect minimal or no personal analytics. Any usage data, if collected, is aggregated and not used to identify you.
You can delete your local data at any time from within the app. To delete your account and synced data, contact us at the address below and we will remove it.
